--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Clear golden, lively head. Aroma of winegums, tart cider, hay, lavender and herbal spices. Dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Winegums, hay and lavender. Mid bitter finish.
Bottle. Pale amber with a good inch of white head that lasts pretty well. Aroma of crackery dough, grapefruit, cloves, pepper, lime cordial, lemongrass. Cleanish with some phenolic notes as well as citrusy hops. Decisive bitterness.
--Bottled. -- Hazy deep ruby, small head. Minerally almondy cherry aroma. Dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Marzipan and bitter almond, dark cherries and licorice. Malt bitter finish.
Bottle. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is cherries, some toffee, sweet alcohol, spices and some dried fruits too. Flavour is cherries and a bunch of herbal tones (kind of Underberg vibe to it) with some wooden and dried fruity tones. Not that sweet. Interesting herbal aftertaste.
Bottle (Milkhead Beers). Just unclear amber with a luxuriant white head. Aroma of mildly funky dough, floaty floral and citrus notes, spices. So it tastes - dryish with snappy bitterness and some spiciness that could be phenol and could be actual spices at the end. Quaffable with some intrigue. Fairly clean and nicely punchy at the end. Wouldn't guess 8%.
75cl bottle (no mentioned ABV on the label) from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: medium, white, average retention. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, hay, grapes, spicy, bit honey, floral. T: medium malty base, bit soapy mouthfeel, herbal, hay, peach, floral, long lasting bitterness plus tannins, medium carbonation, not the best combo here yet enjoyed.
75cl bottle (7,5%) from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: medium, tan, average retention. C: deep amber, hazy. A: peach, banana, herbal, bit grassy, spicy. T: hay, herbal, peach, spicy, long lasting bitterness from hops and dandelion, dry on the palate, medium carbonation, another like or hate beer from Fantôme, enjoyed for sure.
Pours clear brown, medium large off-white head. Scent is Spicy, loads of winter vibes still standing after all these years. Taste is sweet, loads of spices ( too much to my taste) but it does kindof match the idea and the beer. Age doesn't seem to have violated it (yet) , which is quite nice. Lasting bitterness lingers. Some age factor shows, but it works smoothly
