500ml bottle from Hill Island Brewery. Golden amber colour, thin white foam head and aroma of fruity, grain. Taste is malty, grainy, yeasty, fruity with tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.
Draught at Hill Island Brewery, Durham. Black brown colour with reddish tinge, bubbly biege head and aroma of roast malt, chocolate. Taste is roasty malt, molasses, chocolate, dried fruits and tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy roasty bitter finish. Quite drinkable

500ml bottle from Hill Island market stand. Deep amber colour, thin white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, toffee, yeast. Taste is malty, bready some yeast, caramel and floral hop with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy grassy bitter finish. Quite OK.
Draught at Hill Island Brewery, Durham. Black colour, beige foam head and aroma of lemongrass & lime leaves. Taste is soya sauce, ginger, lemongrass, lime leaves with coffee & chocolate hints. Light bodied, soft carbonation, tangy lime leaf finish with dry roasted notes. Interesting, quite drinkable.

500ml bottle picked up from brewery stall at Bishop Auckland food festival 2017. Amber coloured with a white foamy head. Malty-grainy citric aroma. Has a malt, grain and yeasty flavour with lingering earthy bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation and dry citric bitter finish. OK.
