Box sample, thanks Danlo for this. Drunk after cooking and eating a mushroom stroganoff, my first attempt from scratch and very nice too. Pours misty gold, aroma has gentle medium apple fruit. Taste is medium dry with high juice content, firm bitterness with gentle floral hibiscus notes adding a mild depth of flavour against the apple. A little tart and dry, but likeable with a light acidity.
Sample, many thanks to Danlo for sending this over! Drunk while cooking a mushroom stroganoff. Pours a generally clear pale gold, aroma presents gentle apple fruit, distant orchard. Has quite a nice prominent fleshy apple presence to taste, light bitter core, very faint earthy woody notes, but mostly this is about the fruit. Would've been nice to know the apple used, but alas google does not provide the data required. Nice introduction to this producer.
