Cork & Caged 750ml bottle, drank on 2nd January 2023 in Laguna Hills. This years version is a dark and slightly tarter one than I've had before. Still has that 'Belgian' feel which is a great asset. Dark fruits rule the taste, along with a boozy base. Another good year!

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish ruby brown with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Aromas of cherry and date with Belgian yeast notes. More of the same on the palate with candi sugar, dates and cherry. Good carbonation with a Belgian yeast forward finish and lingering date / prune.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear orange, amber color with a full 2 fingers of off-white head that lingers, then dissipates. Lovely redcurrant nose with bread and floral aromas. Smooth on the palate; a bit maltier than I like my saisons, but very drinkable. Some stone fruit and overripe citrus as it warms.

Cork and caged 750ml bottle all to myself on Valentines Day 2022, the wife was drinking wine and didn't fancy any beer; lucky me! Darkest deep brown body, decent beige topping. Spicy little number with plenty going on in both the nose and taste. The 'On Lees' gives the beer a funky, mini-sour yeasty feel although the malts don't allow the beer to become over sour or bitter (although if aged I should imagine the beer will become more sour in nature. Nice and different, liked it.

US pint can: Drank all by myself on 17th December 2021 (in Laguna Hills, California). Poured into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass, hazed dirty orange look, white crown on top. Spicy notes in the nose and taste with a light ginger warmth trying to get through. I wanted to enjoy this, but it didn't really 'do it for me'.

355ml bottle, silver foil over the cap: BB 21st June 2024. Drank in OC, California on 14th December 2021. Poured into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass, it looked fine. Golden amber body, murky and moody, white head tried to hang around. Hoppy nose with a yeasty and floral leaning, taste also along the same lines, citrussy hints joining in flavour wise; some maltiness kicks in mid-sip and the alcohol is omni-present.
