Bottle @ ZZTX. Reddish amber color Dried red fruit, vanilla and some grassy hopnotes in the aroma. Intensely malty, toffee. Malty sweet flavor with toffee, dried red fruit. Alcoholic. Hint of oak. Complex enough to be likeable.

12 Fl Oz bottle, drank at home on 5th June 2019. Amber bodied, off-white bubbles on top. Hop centric as the name suggests; piney and citrusy in both the aroma and taste, the malts calm it all down nicely. Really enjoyed this Californian beauty!

23/II/19 - 1Pt. can from a trade (bought at San Diego Wine and Beer Co.), shared @ 1st Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (formerly known as Belgian Ratebeer Gathering), BB: n/a, no dates on the can, marked as “new” in the shop - (2019-308) Thanks to Surya for the trade!
Clear orange beer, big creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very soapy, floral, slightly fruity, pretty oxidized, vanilla. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of tropical fruits, mango, bit cheesy, sweet, alcoholic, citrus touch, lactose? Aftertaste: hoppy, bitter, dry, lots and lots of alcohol, sugary touch, very bitter finish. Not very complex, and again the feeling this wasn't the freshed ever… This is why a canning date should be obligatory.

Bottle from BevMo Santa Rosa. DArk, clear amber, one finger creamy head. Aroma is pretty weak, mostly malts. Taste picks up the caramel malts a bit, Irish red comes to mind. A little savory, peppery hoppy finish. Seems thin though. The more I drink it though, the better it gets.

19th December 2017. Ordered as part of a Flight in Crush & Brew, Temecula. The only beer I had never heard of out of the four (it shared stage with Alesmith's Horny Devil, Port Brewing's Santa's Little Helper and Lost Abbey's Lost & Found). Clear golden pour, smooth white head. Tropical fruits in the nose, joined by some Belgian like yeastiness. Taste was semi-sweet and malty. Liked it.
