Bottle, many thanks Mats! Black color with dark beige head. Aroma is chocolate, coconut, chocolate cake, vanilla. Taste is all the chocolate cake goodness, with great vanilla oak flavours, with a thick coconut taking over in the back. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Fantastic!

Duzo karmelowo-melasowych nitek, megaslodkie, ciut alkoholowe, migdalowo-waniliowe, generalnie kurde, pyszka tez
Nie takie slodkie, mocno owocowe, beczka slicza ciut szarlotkowa, duzo czekolado-bomboniery, gladziutkie. Fajnie inne od burbonowych, 4.3
Ta makadamia migdalowa... beczka tradycyjna dla BL. Disc agresywne. Jakies fajne kandyzowane nutki. Klasa acz chyba na lezak. 4.3?
Klasa beczka, czekoladowosc, waniliowosc, jakas mila owocowosc... generalnie pyszka acz nie to ze jakos ponad BL srednia
At this time, this is #27 on the list of Imperial Stouts. I've had it for at least 2 years, kind of forgot about it. Pours like motor oil, just a small bubbly head that fades quickly. Aroma is the sweetest most decadent vanilla and dark chocolate. Allowed this to warm up...wow, like chewing on a vanilla bean which is certainly overpowering It's not cloying but it does have a caramel chocolate bar sort of flavor or even 3 muskateers. yet not too sweet. Solid beer overall. I love the coffee throughout.
Well ain't that something. Lots of vanilla without getting metallic, buttery bourbon, smooth, thick and rich. Sweetness.. marshmellow?
Bottle - pours dark brown tan head - nose and taste of too much rum with bourbon, toasted pecan, vanilla and chocolate roast - full bodied.
Got in a trade with RaulMondesi. 500 ml bottle into snifter, 2018 vintage bottling. Pours moderately hazy deep ruby red color with a small fairly dense cream colored head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, strawberry, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, and brown bread; with light notes of molasses, raisin, cherry, leather, tobacco, herbal, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness. Some increasing booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, vanilla, lactose, strawberry, bourbon barrel, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, strawberry, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, and brown bread; with light notes of molasses, raisin, cherry, leather, tobacco, herbal, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/roast bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, strawberry, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, brown bread, light molasses/dark fruit, herbal, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt, vanilla, lactose, strawberry, bourbon barrel, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly slick/sticky/tannic mouthfeel that is great. Mildly increasing warmth of 12.9%, with minimal barrel booziness lingering after the finish. Overall this is an awesome barrel aged flavored strong ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt, vanilla, lactose, strawberry, bourbon barrel, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the huge ABV; with the mildly bitter/tannic/drying finish. Awesome balance of rich malts, strawberry, vanilla, lactose, and bourbon barrel integration; with solid earthy hop presence. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering bitter/tannic dryness. A really enjoyable offering as expected. Very unique, but nails the expectations; while still being spot on for the base style.
