Hapu, kirsine, happeline, nats vaniljet, veits vesine, puuviljane, kirsikivid, nats nisu. Suht lihtne. Ok. 3.6
Magnum shared by me at Ammutson. Reddish color, small white head. Smells Raspberries, grassy, lactic, very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes of raspberries, grassy, bit citric, spices, light tannins. Finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of raspberries, grass and citric notes. Very nice one
Another Tommie I was curious about, and with good reason it turns out. Lovely sourness, with a great amount of fruit. Refreshing acidity, bright, grapey, and some oak. Excellent balance. One of those beers you can keep drinking.
Been a while since I had some Tommie's, and I was extra curious for this Gueuze-ish idea. Nicely funky, woody, dry, and fairly fruity. Some light sourness, bit of minerality, and balanced well. No real wow, but very good stuff.
29/VII/21 - 75cl bottle @ ElManana’s place, BB: 19/XII/30 (bottle date +10Y) (2021-695) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Little cloudy orange beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: spicy, funky, lots of brett notes, peppery, oxidized, fruity, stone fruit, wood notes, buttery touch, dusty impression. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very acidic, lemony, hint of vinegar, fruity notes, bitter, quite some tannins, acidic burn in the throat. Aftertaste: orange peel, fruity, nice acidity, oxidized, peppery, sweet touch.
Hapu, happeline, viinamarjavarred, veinine, äädikane. Idk, pole minu teema, läheb veits liiga AWA-ks ja no pole seda komplektsust ja keerukust mis heas lambikus/wild ales.
Small just off-white head over orange-copper beer, big bubbled. Floormop Brett, farmyard odours - what Americans call "funky". Bit of lemon, lightly sweetish impression, and some solvent. Again some solvent, then fruity as peach, nectarine, and very obvious sage. Lactic acid and some - citrussy - sweetness. Lipsmacking acidity, acidthinning and -burn. Low carbonation. We've had better from this source. The sweetness, and certainly the solvent are things better avoided. OTOH, the sage proved a welcome addition.
Pours unclear blonde, no head. Scent is floral, fairly intense, very herbal. Taste is tart, dry, oaky, very floral / herbal. malty, medium intense overall. Medium body and carbo. Still not convinced by Tommie sjef, the beers seem to be very one dimentional to me...
0,75l bottle at home. Bottled 09.11.2019. BB 09.11.2029. amber murky color, small white head. smells spices, citric, funky, lactic, some tannins, plums, some stone fruits, some white wine notes, oak. very nice complex smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of stone fruits, plums, citric, grassy, some oak, light wine notes, tannins, bit peppery, bit lactic. finishes rather dry and light to medium sour with notes of plums, tannins and some funky notes. very very nice one, love the plums notes (these are actually quite noticeable), rather on the dry side, but very nice thirst quencher.
