Pours fairly clear, with some haze. Pale lemongold. Scent is dry, woodford quite loud. Pretty silent on the honey. Taste is full, woodfort, bit boozy, bready notes that are very pleasant (yeast autolysis ?) fairly safe on oakj. Medium carbonation, silent honey.
Pretty dark amber, decent viscosity. Smell is sweet, lots of blackberry, something slightly savory. Body is pretty light, almost thin, some subtle but fun carbonation. Taste is lightly sweet, plenty of blackberry, fruity, not sweet. Fun stuff.
Pale straw coloured, looks nicely viscous. Smell is sweet, some honey, getting plenty of bright apple as well. Light and lightly sticky mouthfeel. Quite dry, little bit of jaw clenching acidity even. Lots of dry funky apple, hint of juicy pear. Refreshing
Bottle shared with Laura. Reddish color, clear, no head. Aroma is honey, sweet fruity notes. Flavor is similar, honey, sweet but not over the top at all, very balanced. Quite pleasant.
Bottle shared, orange, no head, aroma is mead, honey, fruity, sweet. Taste is the same, sweet, honey, fruity, pear. Very nice
Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, roast, coffee, honey. Taste is the same, bitter, sweet, honey, roasted coffee, bitter. Nice one
Orangy reddish, looks pretty thick. Smell is plenty of honey, some tart berries. Body is light, some alcohol burn, and a bit sticky. Taste is still quite some unfermented honey, and relatively soft forest berries. Pretty tasty, but could be jammier.
