Exploring the wine and spirit world asside of this all. Allow me to explain a bit on how I score. These are based on personal enjoyment. Quality & 'in style' are part of that enjoyment, but won't totally make or break a drink, if I myself have a different opinion. Whiskey : Rated on the website 'whiskeybase' ( account Kraddell ) Wine : Rated on the App / Site 'Vivino' ( Account named Kraddel . ) <-- with the dot. Still searching a medium for other spirits, so those aren't online for now. If you know anything, let me know ;) For all mediums, the score is decided like this : 100 : Absolute perfection. Must have sampled it at least twice, and be mindblown twice. 90 - 100 : absolutely amazing. I'd like a drink like this anytime, even if it ain't the cheapest. 80-90 : Very damn good. It'll depend a bit more on the price - but this is probably one to seek out. 70-80 : better than average . Will likely enjoy again if it's priced compeditive. 70 : Average score for anything with alcohol . // 50 : The absolute middlepoint ( pure H2O ) Anything with alcohol beneath 50 is simply not worth drinking (seriously, concider your liver) // 05 : The absolute, final downpoint . Songs shall be written about how this attack to the tastebuds has started a rage within, killing inocent bystanders for no apparent reason - other than the fact my life is ruined by drinking this. On the other hand, it's kinda interesting to try something THIS bad, so you should probably seek it out ! As you can see, I use the FULL scale , and a rating of 70 by myself isn't bad at all !

Pours black, scent is sweet, maple and vanilla. Taste is full, sweet, maple. Dark sugar, vanilla, creamy, intense body and mild carbo. Feels 'syrupy'. Yet remains pleasant. Milder maple.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is cinnamon, intense chocolate. Taste is full, roasty, chocolate, bit sweet, hot alcohol (boozy). Mild barrel. Not the best of balanced character, which is unexpected within this series. Bitter finish by the roast. Surprisingly ungreat.

Pours muddy, ugly, oxidized lookin' blonde. No real head. Scent is very funky, herbal, overly expressive on the raw and vegetal side to me. Taste is tart, very herbal, overly 'green', raw and rough. Bit manure-like. not my thing at all :/

Pours black, pastry loaded foam with soockies and smarties , sorbet like density - basically candy. Scent is roasty, chocolate, rather simple. Taste is full, chocolate, simple and swet. Roasty, towards ashy , cocoa powder. OK. Instead of putting the 'foam' full of junk, maybe that energy could have been better put to use to work on the basic recipe and make this beer anything more than average.

Pours clear, pale blonde, no real head. Scent is clear lambic funk, peatyness is mild to hidden. Taste is sharp, funky lambic, mild peat, dry, medium tart - mostly funky, far more than I'm used to by OB. Very woody.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is full, chocolate, swet, cocoa, lactose. Bit simple perhaps. Taste is sharp, lactose-intense. Chocolate powder. Meh... Bit bitter.

Pours unclear blonde, no real head. Scent is very full, fruitfdorward, peachy. Intense lambic funk. Taste is sharp, lambic funk, apricot / Peach ( very fruitforward). Yet lambic funk isn't at all lost. Lovely.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is full, mild apple, BA profile, sharp ant a bit of acetaldehyde - or is it the actual apple shinign trough ? Taste is sharp, green apple again, bit boozy, mild grainy. Not great. Not at all the quality I expected from Pohjala.
