Exploring the wine and spirit world asside of this all. Allow me to explain a bit on how I score. These are based on personal enjoyment. Quality & 'in style' are part of that enjoyment, but won't totally make or break a drink, if I myself have a different opinion. Whiskey : Rated on the website 'whiskeybase' ( account Kraddell ) Wine : Rated on the App / Site 'Vivino' ( Account named Kraddel . ) <-- with the dot. Still searching a medium for other spirits, so those aren't online for now. If you know anything, let me know ;) For all mediums, the score is decided like this : 100 : Absolute perfection. Must have sampled it at least twice, and be mindblown twice. 90 - 100 : absolutely amazing. I'd like a drink like this anytime, even if it ain't the cheapest. 80-90 : Very damn good. It'll depend a bit more on the price - but this is probably one to seek out. 70-80 : better than average . Will likely enjoy again if it's priced compeditive. 70 : Average score for anything with alcohol . // 50 : The absolute middlepoint ( pure H2O ) Anything with alcohol beneath 50 is simply not worth drinking (seriously, concider your liver) // 05 : The absolute, final downpoint . Songs shall be written about how this attack to the tastebuds has started a rage within, killing inocent bystanders for no apparent reason - other than the fact my life is ruined by drinking this. On the other hand, it's kinda interesting to try something THIS bad, so you should probably seek it out ! As you can see, I use the FULL scale , and a rating of 70 by myself isn't bad at all !

Pours clear, very light yellow. Scent is honey, anis ( not too strong, luckely). Taste is medium full, sweet, anis not too much, juniper berries mildly present in the back. not my thing, as expected, but surprisingly balanced and drinkable, even for me.

Pours very light clear yellow. Scent is mild, fruits present themselves, and 'hide' the honey. Taste is fairly full, medium sweet. Plums are mild, but noticable. Giving an off-dry character to this sweet based mead. Decent.

Pours clear, light yellow. Scent is medium intense, honey has the uperhand, cherries and spices fairly hidden. Taste is medium full, fairly sweet, elegant honey. Don't get cherries myself. Mild aged factor does show. Full lenght finish with a mild dry touch to it - though it's fairly sweet.

Best by 12/12/21 , so drank right on time. Side by side with the same vintage of malaga and the base. This one pours equal, dark purplered. Small white head. Scent is very unique, speculoos, cinnamon almost, milder cherry. Most complex of the 3. Taste is dry, intense cherry, complex spice note, again reminding of (mild) cinnamon. Very unexpected. Probably the best of the 3 at this given time.

Bottle , best by 12/12/21 , so opened right on time. Scent is Pours dark redpurple. small white head. Intense on the cherry, still, mild wood. Bit more complex nose than the base ( same vintage) is at this time. Taste is full, dry, candy-cherry, definately shows its age, but not negative per se. Fairly complex. Nice. Held up quite good, in big contrast to the spontanframboos that turned awefull after far less time.

Pours black, red shine, see trough. No real head. Scent is roasty, some cinnamon. hidden chocolate. Taste is medium intense, cinnamon, sharp expression by the cinnamon-like features of the Amburana. Not that coffee forward. OK.
