Bottle from Drinks & Gifts, BB 12/2021. Dark brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma of chocolatey and slight spicy coffee, mocha. Coffee bitterness in taste, grainy cookie, some caramel, mocha. Bit dry, hints of metallic and almost stale coffee. Body is somewhat thin, certainly for a 10% beer. Wow, just noticed this is brewed at de Noord Hollandse. Then it is world class. Otherwise, still promising.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB April 2021. Clear golden color, huge rocky head. Aroma of garlic and onion, metallic notes, stonefruit. Very dry, nasty bitterness, harsh carbonation like a belgian IPA. Fermented too far and dry (on purpose or is it an infection?), which results in the nasty belgian IPA like bitterness. If you think you can convince neipa loving casuals to get into hardcore classic west coast IPAs, forget it. Rock City continues to disappoint

Can from Mitra Bunnik. Dark color, quickly disappearing head. Aroma of soy sauce, some roast, bit maple. Caramel sweetness and roasty bitterness combine in taste. Bit bold, thick, but not very delicate. Ok, but not very impressive

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB May 2022. Hazy datk brown color, short frothy head. Aroma of real banana (not artificial), some oatmeal cookie, loads of banana actually. Sweet banana in taste as well, oatmeal cookie, slight roast, some chocolate. Best banana beer ever. Well done

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 07-2021. Only 8 EBC apparently, but it pours a clear dark golden to orange color with a short frothy head. Aroma has slight piney hops, some white wine and lavender, some caramel malts. Taste has some sweet caramelly malts, bit tea bitterness, herbal. Texture is quite thin. Mediocre brew
