Less than five minutes walk from Nottingham station and probably the best bar in the city in my very humble opinion. The “official” Castle Rock taproom. The brewery is right behind the pub. They have 13 hand pumps and 10 keg beers. All quality. The bar really hasn’t changed so much in a long long time. The tiled floor was probably laid when my grandfather was still alive. Working WiFi and friendly service. Awesome. It’s worth travelling here for an afternoon and going back on the last train without staying over. This should be your first stop on any Nottingham crawl, followed by BeerheadZ.
