Growler from the brewery. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light tropical citrus, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, fresh, biscuit yeast, juicy citrus, mineral, light creamy lactose, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

440ml can from Tesco. Poured a very slightly hazy golden colour with mostly lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, a little gluey yeast, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter, with a crisp, fresh, floral woody, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter bitter finish. Medium bodied with over moderate carbonation. Doesn’t look great and way too much carbonation up front. The light floral aftertaste is not exactly pleasant. Not bad, but I think Brewdog and Modern Times can do better.

440ml can. Poured a murky orange colour with a very short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is yeast, big peach and some mango. The flavour is moderate sour, with a fresh, crisp, dry, biscuit dough, light tart peach citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation, but lots of gas up front. Nicely balanced. Not too sour or tart. Some hints of sweetness in the finish.

330ml can. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is malt, light gluey, yeasty, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Actually rather nice. It had that quality “small batch” feel about it.
