No head to speak of; clear cognac-coloured beer. Nose of sherry or sake, alcoholic alternative wines or beverages. Sweet sherry, rosewater, sake - and not the best quality - also sweet. Old pistacchio nougat. No carbonation, as mentionned; quite sticky. Flavours fall away a bit once tasted. Very interesting - mix of a non-alcoholic beverage with a strong beer. Unfortunately, not my cup of tea, sorry, sake at all. Txs to Stef!

Good cream-coloured head, dense, over red-brown beer, faintly veiled. Perfumed nose, sweet rosepetal-like aroma. Amandine, some lightly coloured malts. Boozy, dark(er) malts basic beer with a serious dash of cheap whisky. Almonds, human sweat. Alcoholthinning, alcoholheat, medium carbonation. No. This one is way too easy, too cheap. Alcoholinfused, instead of Barrel aged. Txs to Stef!

Cream-coloured head, medium, fast receding over almost black beer with some red highlights. Brown candi sugar, candisyrup, sweet. Bit of ink, faint roastnotes. Brown bread, dry, walnuts, nutbread. Bit of black chocolate, plywood, maybe some caramel. Bitterish finish, with hidden bananaester. Well-bodied, alleviated by the carbonation. Very slick, bit oily feel. OK, not special. And if this is top-fermented (as I suspect) this ought not to be called Baltic porter. Txs to Stef!

No head whatsoever; clear metallic terra-cotta coloured beer. Light sour, very fruity nose; red fruit/berries. Some solvent and alcohol. Sweet-sour and really fruity, without becoming fruitjuice. Alcoholic beer underneath very present, not at all in relation to its ABV. More than a bit woody. Quite (fruit)slick, almost no CO², long lasting flavours. Pleasing fruitbeer! Txs to Stef!

No head, clear red copper to bright deeper carmine coloured beer, still. Vinous, solvent, aldehyde, faint lactic acidity; red, half-dried fruit. Lactic acid, bit catty, faraway solvent. Grapey, blue grapes with a winey (malonic?) acidity. Acidthinning, no carbonation. Feels & tastes like quite aged Oud Bruin. Better than the first impression, in the end really enjoyable. Too bad Tall Poppy has stopped functioning, this must be one of their last. Txs to Stef!

Small cream-amber head, fairly stable over cloudy red-brown beer. Vinous nose, (white) chocolate, grapes in molten chocolate, liqueurish, even perfumey, almondy. Vinous, sweet almonds, rosewater. Bit (red) grapes, if faint. Again faint (white) chcolate. Bit overripe grapes too, alas, nearly rotting. Finish has a combination of fruitsugars and acidic carbonation. Complex, but not quite balanced. Quite carbonated (amphora?!), long acidity, medium bodied, bit slick. Not bad, good idea, probably, but the result shows some, minor, loose ends.

Small, off-white head over clear copper beer. Smoked nose, smoked food (not necessarily chestnuts), tarr. Light smoked beer with a bitter almond finish. Faint sourishness, difficult to pinpoint. Very light MF, certainly for its ABV. Soft carbonation. I like smoked beers, and as some very good Italian examples prove, roasted chestnuts can give very tasty beer - but this one turns out to be a bit light. Not bad, but beefing it up a little would do no harm at all! Txs to Joren for bringing!
