Clear amber, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of raisin, fig, caramel, brioche, wood, vanilla, apple pie, bourbon. Taste has sweet raisin, pear & plum, not yet candied though; brioche-like & caramelly malt body supporting herbal notes. Herbal hoppy finish with dried fruit, woody vanilla aspects and warming bourbon alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Decently made and that's quite the surprise. Happy to have encountered it at the festival, without having to buy an expensive whole bottle.

Hazy orange, stable, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of apple peel, pear, plum, straw, bread crust. Taste has sweetish apple & plum in a bready malt body, yeasty, bit spicy. Floral hoppy finish, bit grassy, dry-woody with a faint vanilla bean hint. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Pleasant enough.

Hazy black, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of liquorice, date, caramel, clove, chocolate. Taste has sweet prune & raisin, spicy liquorice, soft toasty maltiness. Herbal hoppy finish, quite spicy with dried fruits. Medium body, slick-watery texture, average carbonation. The 'Belgian love' as they mention it is way too apparent here in its estery and phenolic character, undermining the Porter profile. For me it's back to the drawing board with this one.

Cheers to Anke & Pieter! Clear golden, thin, white head. Aroma of green apple, apple juice, unripe pear, straw. Taste has sweet-sour green apple, unripe pear; bit funky & bready. Tart, softly funky finish with mostly apple juice. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Well, it has all the characteristics of an accident...

Hazy amber, stable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of biscuit, rusk, red apple, raisin, vague orange peel. Taste has sweet raisin, apple & pear; biscuity malts and herbal notes. Herbal hoppy finish, mostly dried fruit, a tad bitter. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. There was pepper in this? Weak body, which weakens the taste.

Hazy pale yellow, thin, white head. Aroma of papaya, starfruit, mandarin, guava. Taste has sweetish papaya & peach, sourish starfruit, citric aspect over bready maltiness. Floral hoppy finish, bit piney with unripe tropical fruits. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Refreshing and nicely bitter.
