Draft @ Moeder Fontainas. Red berries pureed coloured appearance but not very bright. Explosive elderflower to the max more than any Mamouche I have ever had before, Meadowsweet probably adds a lot as well with huge acidic red berry / elderberry, quite acidic, lemony but explosive taste as well, superb.

750 ml. bottle shared @ brewery. Totally different from what I expected, very fruity in almost a soapy way, almost sweetish white grape & citrus, oak, perfume, finish in the back is some more classic orange wine funk but way less than expected. Took some getting used to / wrong expectation but quite nice overall.

½ 375 ml. bottle @ brewery. Right about flat. High quality lambiek with little acidity and low funk, quite heavy on stone fruit, cardamon is massive, soft, rich. Highly delicious but if you like it depends entirely on how you feel about cardamon.

330 ml. can. Soggy thin insecticide, weedy hops with strange papery body, tangerine is artificial reminiscent of some recent Elvis Juice, weirdly soda-like, heavy mineral. Get a bit more of the flavoring over time. More of the macro BrewDog for me.

750 ml. bottle @ brewery. Flat basically, needed plenty of time to breath. Almost more Vin Jaune than lambiek, fruit wallnuts, grape, oily, sweet oxidation, little funk, Vin Jaune totally dominates which is fine with me given how tasty the whole is.

375 ml. bottle @ brewery. Very high carbonation, rather acidic & heavy dirty dry barn, boozy even actually weird harsh grain & oak, bit too much of everything for me. Golden blend this ain’t.

From the fermenter @ brewery. 250 ml. Quite hazy, nose is awesome fresh dough & bread, bit hoppy even. Taste is more basic dry cereal, oat & wheat, floral, pepper, benefits a lot from the condition, decent.

Draft 250 ml. @ brewery. Dark brown murky with only a few bubbles as head. Quite sour lemon but also heavy dark cherry, leather, black bread & tobacco, this would be spectacular if the body wasn’t this thin & watery, near flat, low balsamic vinegar, fix that body & this will be world class.
