Shared at home thanks to Maakun. Unclear purple red with greyish head. Soft sweet and dry apple/berry juice. Light sweet, moderate tart, oaky, I get the red wine barrel, also a liiitle cowpoopy. Good balance in this one. Fruity but strong crisp and dry. Lovely. --- Beer merged from original tick of Appelwien (with elderberries) on 22 Jan 2021 at 00:38 - Score: 7. Hazy pale golden with white head. Dry apple, lemony, lots if tannins, almond spice, green twigs, apple stem wood, barnyard goat funk, Lait Cru Camamebert. Delicate and tart. Light sweet, a bit more sour and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Dry minerallike feel. Nice!
