Basically a shelf on the side of the La Tana restaurant & also whatever is in the two fridges. Hard to call this a separate place from the restaurant. Lots of Italian beers that you won’t see around elsewhere including a few new to me. Eclectic selection of Loverbeer, Thornbridge, Struise etc. Prices are on the high end but interesting & well picked stuff lots of which you won’t see elsewhere. Very friendly service.
Smaller than expected Roman style bistro / restaurant during the week currently and a bar in the weekend. Visited during the weekend. 4 taps, 2 Kemker, one L’Ermitage collab with Del Sannio & one Del Sannio. 2 fridges with an interesting eclectic selection, Loverbeer, Hof ten Dormaal, Uiltje, Cantillon,… Plenty of great Italian beers you won’t find anywhere else these days in Belgium probably. Service was excellent with passionate explanation & paired snacks from the accompanying region of the Italian beers we got. Cheese with honey one round & second tiny sliced meat (ham ? – sorry not my region of expertise). Prices were towards restaurant prices tough, bit on the high end. Bottles in fridge had take-away prices noted but to drink prices turned out higher which weren’t noted & I concluded that my draft beer must be 3 € from the board but it turned out to be 5 €. Plenty of wine available as well. In the past they did I believe vegetarian food but not vegan food. They also had some Antidoot but at 42 € also bit too rich for me.
Quite expensive but kind of unique place. 11 taps, three beers and the rest cider. Imports and domestic. Food is bagels and I've heard they're nice. Quite spacious for the location. Doors open out onto Kamiyama street.
