The only pub in a small village between Doncaster and Mexbrough. My Gran grew up in this village. I came here with family for a birthday meal and was surprised to see 4 Don Valley beers on tap. There was also a Don Valley van in the car park. if you have a car it's worth coming here, if not and you want to try Don Valley beers, go for the Don Valley tap at the Wool Market in Doncaster. Free wifi
Strange looking basement place but lots of taps and great prices. Food is good pub fare too. Cash payment only.
Visited 24/10 - Dinant/Anseremme trek thanks to SNCB covid pass - our trek was cut short due to an ongoing game hunt along our 15kms trail in Anseremme - trip cut short but we walked back to Dinant. Easy to find shop in the city center - a bit sad state considering how the covid craze is going and a lot of the shops appeared to be closed.
Super friendly place - load of craft beers to be had - detailed recommandations and a wide variety of styles. Surpisingly, many foreign beers of the up and coming craft breweries. Beers organized by styles - all IPAs kept in a fridge. A bit surprised all this was available in Dinant and some of the selection was not even available in Brussels.
Managed to get a bunch of new Minne Ardenne Wood beers which I was not even aware of as well as a Romanian Hop Holligans which a friend of mine in Romania had not even heard of.
Shop also sports some fine spirits and local produces - the family owns a bakery in front of the shop and I recommend buying the local specialty.
Next to the shop is another beer shop boasting a big selection and I ma not sure if both are related.
more of a food place but they always have a decent selection of beers. Go pat the 1st 2 rooms into the 3rd and look to your left. There's hand sanitiser on the way in. Don't enter unless there's a free trolley. There's no wifi. Always a weird selection of beers, usually close to the best before date so I would avoid the IPA's…
Has a smaller seating area right as you enter and a larger area in the back where the bar and the fermenters are. A bit noisy in the back area, but a nice place nonetheless sitting next to the fermenters and seeing the bar and kitchen. 22 taps, although not all connected all the time. 8 or so of their own beers with the rest mainly being Swedish micros.
